Therefore, let us stay within the limits of the title, resist the temptation to go beyond, along the lines of the theme, towards the promise of town consistency. Let us abstain, as said, and subtract ourselves out of the subtle self-gratification in assuming and acting, describing and pitying, designing and using. Let us refuse our want of transparency and clarity, to fix and possess, and resist the seduction of the city. Let us stay apart, on the outline, indefinitely linger on this side, in the early stages of the hidden brightness of the theme, I’m looking at the city.
